El primer disco de Mickie James

El título para el álbum country de Mickie James, con el que hará su debut en el mundo de la música, ha sido revelado. El CD se llamará 'Strangers & Angels' y saldra el 23 de marzo

El título no es muy original, pues el mismo nombre de una canción de Kara Dioguard
El primer sencillo, tendrá como título "Are You With Me", y será lanzado el próximo 16 de febrero

La pelicula de John Cena cambia de nombre

La próxima película de John Cena, "Brother's Keeper" ha cambiado de nombre, y ahora se titulará "Legendary"
Suponemos que hubo dudas de una potencial demanda por parte de New Line Cinema, debido a la exagerada similitud que el título de dicha cinta, con el de la exitosa producción "Sister´s Keeper", que en el 2009 fue lanzada con Cameron Diaz como protagonista

Este será el logo oficial de la nueva marca, WWE NXT: Next Generation. Como podran notar la imagen del logo fue tomada de el comercial que fue transmitido por SyFy Channel señalando la llegada del nuevo concepto

NXT responde a WWE

NXT Wrestling, ha lanzado un comunicado de prensa derivado de las intenciones de WWE de llamar “NXT” a su nueva marca de lucha profesional
Este es un fragmento:

Una empresa escocesa está bajo amenaza de un gigante de medios norteamericano que ha decidido tomar su nombre y lema… No tenemos ningún contacto directo con WWE en relación a este tema, pero aceptaremos cualquier intentó de comunicación.

Cabe decir, que NXT Wrestling, es justamente la marca de desarrollo de la Scottish Wrestling Alliance, es decir, cumple el mismo objetivo que WWE planea para su marca NXT

NXT Wrestling. Fundada en el 2006.

A Renfrewshire-based company in Scotland has come under threat from US media giants after a global enterprise decided to use their name and tagline.

Global media giants World Wrestling Entertainment have recently announced their plans to launch WWE:NXT, the NXT Generation of wrestling. This has since been a cause for concern for Scottish promotion NXT Wrestling, a local company who risk getting squashed in favour of the multi-million dollar WWE headed by Vince McMahon.

NXT Wrestling was announced in 2006 and launched in 2007 as a way of giving young men with dreams their chance to break free from their lives and live for a few moments in the spotlight. NXT and it’s associated promotion the Scottish Wrestling Alliance have strived to bring quality family entertainment to towns and halls across the West of Scotland, culminating in the struggle to bring an ailing genre into the spotlight with events in Kelvin Hall, and has helped raise funds for charities including Torkhill Childrens Foundation.

When WWE announced their new brand as NXT, using the same tagline ‘NXT Generation’ and emphasis on developmental talent, staff and employee’s began to worry when they woke up to the new on Wednesday morning.

“We have had no direct contact from WWE regarding this matter but we welcome any conversation or resolution they would like to put forward.” Commented Peter Murphy, owner of the Scottish Wrestling Alliance.

“Everyone at the Scottish Wrestling Alliance is honoured that WWE have decided to name their latest product after SWA’s feeder programme, NXT. We would like to assure our fans that the original NXT is still leading the way for trainees in Scotland and the shows on 6th February, Spittal Community Centre, Rutherglen, 19th February, Bargarran Community Centre, Erskine, March 6th, Viewpark Community Centre, Uddingston and March 19th, Links Community Centre, Cumbernauld are all still due to go ahead as advertised.”

After long and careful planning, SWA:NXT made it’s debut in January 2007 as a promotion designed to showcase up and coming talent within Scotland in conjunction with SWA’s Area 52 wrestling school. In 2009 NXT Wrestling split from the Scottish Wrestling Alliance to stand on it’s own two feet, taking it’s own creative direction in September last year.

The goal within the company is to give younger talent an opportunity to showcase their abilities and get noticed. Several of our NXT talents over the years have gone on to work across the UK, gain international interest and win NWA Heavyweight championships. NXT promoted shows across the West of Scotland with our next event scheduled this weekend, February 6th in Rutherglen which features some fresh young talent who have risen through the ranks of their training facility and earned their place on the event.

Resultados de Smackdown 5 de febrero

Esta noche se espera la presencia de Edge, ganador de Royal Rumble 2010, en SmackDown!, ¿llegará para encarar a The Undertaker o preferirá ir por su ex amigo Chris Jericho?

Además, Teddy Long anunciará a los contendientes para la Cámara de la Eliminación de la marca azul.

Se espera para esta noche The Undertaker vs. Batista por el título Mundial de Peso Completo en un main event Dark Match.
Resultados:
Inicia el programa con Chris Jericho en el ring hablando mal de Edge, diciendo que no merece nada, por lo débil que es. Que él sí merece la oportunidad al título frente a The Undertaker.

Tornero de calificación a The Elimination Chamber:

1.- John Morrison venció a Kane con Starship Pain, Drew Mcintyre también participó en la lucha.

2.- R-Truth venció a Mike Knox

3.- CM Punk venció a Batista via conteo fuera del ring.

4.- Chris Jericho venció a Matt Hardy con codebreaker.

Mickie James con Beth Phoenix, hablan de sus victorias en Royal Rumble 2010. Beth le dice que ella podría ser la nueva Campeona, si le da la oportunidad, en eso llega Vickie Guerrero que decreta un Divas Tag Team entre ellas dos vs. McCool y Layla.

5.- Mickie James y Beth Phoenix vencieron a Layla y Michelle McCool.

6.- Rey Mysterio venció a Dolph Ziggler con 619, para ser el último calificado a la Cámara.

El regreso de “The Cutting Edge”, invitado, The Undertaker.

Edge saluda a su público, y dice que será un placer ir por alguno de los dos campeonatos en Wrestlemania 26, interrumpe CM Punk y dice que será Campeón y salvador de todos, en eso Jericho interrumpe y alega que el debe ganar por se el ícono de SmackDown, se hacen de palabras los tres, en eso se apagan las luces, suenan las campanas, regresa la luz y The Undertaker aparece en el centro del ring, despacha a todos los luchadores presentes y al final mira a Edge, mientras sostiene su título.

Teddy Long anuncia el Dark Main Event.
The Undertaker venció a Batista, con tumba rompe cuellos, reteniendo el título.
